He is equally as comfortable working as part of a tight-knit documentary crew as managing a sound department on large-scale feature films and tv/streaming series.

Earlier in his career, Dane worked as a sound editor, so he knows exactly what is required from location sound to ensure all the right elements are there to ensure a great edit and mix.

Dane has a love of language and has mixed & recorded dialogue in English, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, Marathi, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Khmer, Thai, Russian, Finnish, Yiddish, Tetum, Pijin/Neo-Solomonic & multiple Aboriginal languages.

Holds a Working With Children/Blue Card certification in both Victoria and Queensland, a first aid certificate (HLTAID011 Provide First Aid), a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification and an Australian boat & jet-ski license.
